Available Adults
Why would an adult dog be available?
There are a multitude of reasons that an older dog would be available for adoption. Most commonly they are being retired from breeding, or they didn't pass all the required health testing to become a breeding dog. Each case is individual and all information will be disclosed to potential new homes.
Please fill out an application for consideration to adopt an adult.
What does it mean if they didn't pass their health testing?
It does not mean that they are severely unhealthy, usually there is a small problem that does not make them a good candidate for breeding. Passing all required health testing is a top priority. All my dogs are tested for Heart, eyes, knees, and hips. Any health concerns will be disclosed before any adoption
